Chairman Ma Attended the South Africa-China Business Forum in Beijing

On the morning of December 5, Chairman Ma Zehua attended the South Africa-China Business Forum in China World Summit Wing and delivered a speech in his capacity as the Chairperson of China BRICS Business Council.

H.E.Jacob Zuma, President of the Republic of South Africa, attended the Forum and delivered the keynote speech. The forum was also attended by Minister Rob Davies of Department of Trade and Industry of South Africa, Mr. HUANG Shuhe, Deputy Director of SASAC, and other 400 guests from the governments and business communities.

Chairman Ma said that the business communities of the two countries should focus on cooperation in trade facilitation, infrastructure development, financial services and people-to-people exchanges. The two sides should uphold the principle of mutual benefit and win-win, work together in a result-oriented manner, and be courageous and innovative. Chinese business community is willing to collaborate sincerely with South African counterparts, contributing to the sustained growth of bilateral trade, investment, and manufacturing ties.

  During the Forum, Chairman Ma also had a meeting with the delegation of the South African BRICS Business Council led by Chairman Patrice Motsepe.
